This is the last so called RadioAmp I restored. As I bought the radio in it didn’t power up. All condensators and the blown power tube where changed. Sad to say that the Radio won’t receive any radio anymore, but the power amp worked fine. It has a good drive and tone controle, I did a mod with the EM84 magic Eye Tube, now it works as VU Meter. For easy use on bigger concerts I also added a Line Out with volume control.
Price :165€
SOLD!

The Magnetic Shit Wah is based on the very popular Atari Punk Console Schematic. The Pedal is used much like an optic Wah, but it doesn’t filter your tone, in fact it uses the light sensor to control the LFO Frequency and your guitars Volume Pot to control the envelope Frequency. This means that playing the guitar will not generate any tone, all you had do is turning the Volume and hide the Light sensor making fancy Square wave Sounds. This Pedal works only with passive instruments!
The Pedal has two Switches for different Frequencies on LFO and Envelope, Volume Control and is powered by any Boss-style 9V Power Supply. It features a USB plug on the back for USB Light if you play in dark places, but you can also charge any device via USB (tested with iPhone, Android Mobiles and GPS).
Price : 74€
Here is a small video I made with the prototype:

A Friend found a broken Dildo in the streets some time ago and I had the Idea that it would be much funnier if a Dildo plays a melody with his motor. After some work I managed to get it working on batteries with the original power control. I look forward to make other melodies and I will try to sell them as “best birthday (or wedding, Xmas…) card” in the world. I already made the wedding march and I will do other popular melody’s.
Turn up the volume, since the speaker is the motor you actually feel more the melody than you hear it.

This brand new Ampeg Heritage SVT-CL fell from about 2m high. The Case was literally in pieces…no wonder about. This amp weights 36kg and has 300W from 6 KT-88. I was surprised that everything worked, no blown tubes, nothing!
I ordered a new Case from a lokal carpenter (which was delivered under one week, thank you Atelier Servo) and I put some Black Tolex on. The Amp looks like new now.

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since the last Post, but not because it’s holidays for everyone here in france but because I got lot’s of things to do:
New FX to come:
Magnetic Shit Wah, formerly Shitstrom: the internal design has been improved for easy and quick wiring. It’s a Atari Punk Console build like a little optical tremolo, the Optical sensor controls the LFO, the instruments Volume Pot the Envelope. I allso added a USB Plug and 5V regulator for a USB Bulb. So it will easier to use in dark places, but you can also charge you iPhone
. A first Design was made by Ben but we where unsatisfied with the etching. A new design will come till end of next week. Target Price: 69€ (hey it’s just a APK)
Here is the clip I made a long time ago:
Reampin Box:
Second attempt to make a affordable Re-Amping box. Sadly to say that, but they won’t be out of wood like earlier this year. Sometimes it cost’s to much efford working with other people… Instead it will be out of aluminum with a nice self explaining etching. The XLR/Jack Combo is replaced by a Stereo Jack, it still accepts asymmetrical and symmetrical Signals. Target Price: 49€
BBQ 50/8 aka Attenuator 50W/8Ohm:
After a testing periode of 3 months with a Orange Rockverb 50 this little Attenuator will be available as soon as I have a nice design for the etching. It has 3 switches: Bypass, attenuation (2 positions) and HI-Pass (3 positions: 0, 1, 2). it doesn’t has a line out or other functions to keep the price low and so it can fit in a small (box 11x6x3cm). It’s for people looking only for low volume without a 200€ budget.
Price under 90€
My work was (far) more present on this years Terrasses du Jeudi, a “big” event in Rouen every thursday evening during july.
Take a look at the red reverb with my Logo used by Willo. They also used the Bassket Case Fuzz and the Organs Amp is a Grundig 3303WF Radio I modified (of course with line out!). I really appreciated their concert!
Divine s Orchestra did a real good job Place St. Marc. Somebody told me they will play will Tahiti 80 at the Trianon Transatlantique (Rouen/France) in October… Congratulations to Divines Orchestra, soon you will play with Pink Floyd mates
For those how hide official events there was the Balcon du Jeudi Rue eau de Robec:
Thank you mike.
p.s. if your to drunk to hold a camcorder, stop filming and party!
End of August my workshop will move to Le Kalif. For their 15. Birthday we will do some showcases for my stuff and I will make some educational Workshops later (build a Tube Screamer, APK’s and other one day courses).
26-27. August:
I will be present with my Stand the whole Weekend. Please visit!

Two Years ago a Friend and I built a 360° video system wich worked quite well. We recorded with a VHS camcorder and the ‘lense’ was built out of PVC Pipes, Plexiglass and chromed table ware. Nils converted the video some time ago and last week he did a small web-based player. The sound is distorted and it has huge pixels, but it works:

Last Week I did some small repairs on this Vox 760 in excellent condition. The Owner has not only the amp he has allso the original Cabinet and the Footswitch. These Amps are now very rare, built in the late 1960′. These Amps have a Transistor Preamp and 60Watt Tube Output stage. The sound is just nice! They have a kind of Boost with a creamy Fuzz, one of the best sounding Amps I ever worked on!
He want’s to sell it for about 5000€ with the original 2×12″ Cabinet (original Speakers re-coned!!!, it’s the same like in the Photo below) and Footswitch. I think that’s a rather fair price, I already saw the Head only for 6500€ on Ebay. Send me a mail if your interested and I will give you the contact.
Here a Photo from the John Lennon using this kind of Amp:

The Roland Bass Cube 30 is a reliable Amp at a fair Price. The Simulations aren’t very special, the Effects Sucks (but the Compressor is good), they outlive ten times every cheap Amp I had before (like Behringer, Storm…).
BUT there is a problem with this amp:
The Headphones/Line Out cuts the internal Speaker. That makes it difficult to record or to use it on Stage. To improve this Amp I made a small Tutorial for all Bass Cube Owners out there with the possibility to Mute the Speaker.
Solder Iron, Screw Driver, small Caliper, Drill, some Wire and a small SPST (or SPDT, DPDT…) Toggle Switch with adequate characteristics…
These Photos will easily guide you through the installation:
On the left you see the Line out.
Connect your switch like this.
Note what the switch does or you will forget it! I used sone Posca Markers.
We made some experiments with the Scatman Tremolo last Weekend. Some Samples are now on the Scatman Page.
More Samples with Guitar and Bass will come soon…

With this little circuit you can complement a front Panel Switch with a Footswitch. The Switch on the front Panel stays functional if no Footswitch is insert. The Plug is from Neutrik (not a shitty Cliff or Switchcraft). Switching is provided by a japanese gold plated DPDT relay for signal and low power switching. Power supply is provided eighter by 6-18V AC (like Tube Heater supply) or 7-35V DC from the ‘Host’ and it’s very small (6cm x 2,7cm) for easy and fast integration.
FOOTFOOT 1 works fine with Marshall Style Footswitches without battery.
Price is 34€
Example of Integration into a Alesis S-31Q:
FOOTFOOT 1 complements the IN/OUT Switch, so this 19″ can be used on Stage without Looper or special Equipment.

Hello everybody,
I think it’s time for some updates. The last two or three posts where not this interesting…
I made this little “Plugin” for a old Alesis S-31Q Graphic Band Equalizer. The Plugin has a gold plated relay for signal switching, so you can extend quite any switch in the amp with a Footswitch (signals, functions like compressor…). The Switch on the Front panel stays functional if no Footswitch is insert. The Plugin works fine with Marshall Style Footswitches without battery. Here are some photos from the integration in the Alesis:

I finished the Gustav 2 Amp about 2 weeks ago. Since then I tested the amp several times at the Kalif in Rouen and Docks Music in Le Havre. the results where rather exiting. He has a very reactive EQ and enough power for all situations. At Docks Music we turned up the volume and gain a little bit and the guitars at the walls started singing
I hope to seen Mike soon for the woodwork. Damien already started designing the Frontplate. Next is a 3 Band Version..
Price will be around 900€.
A Guy from Willo Slovakia brought me this lunatic Radio produced by Grundig in 1953/54 with ’3D-Raumklang’, some kind of dolby-suround for mono. I restored this radio and I added a Instrument In and Line Out. You can see this little amp at the Emporium Galorium the 21 May 2011…
Closeup on the magic Eye
This radio has 4 Speakers, one Speaker and a Tweeter on the Front and one Speaker on each side, to provide the ‘Raumklang’…
Input on the left, Line out on the right.
As last word I suggest you to take a look at Katerine Phillipe. I don’t really know how to describe what this guy makes… but it’s really funny and astounding!
